You can practice mindfulness in most situations. Like when on public transport. As extra bonus you can use the stop chime as a reminder to get back for when your mind has wondered of.
My favorite humoristic take on design controlled by clients is "Designing the Stop Sign". It really highlights the need to recognise and say no to detrimental design.
Of course, in the future clients will just use AI to get what they want.
And the kicker is that the AI won't say no.
Imagine the many messes that will need to be taken care of.
This guy. Just ever-so-nonchalantly rolls the stop sign and then overtakes my kid and me in the middle of an intersection as we biked home from school.
You wouldn't do this to someone in a car. Don't do it to someone on a bike.

The #StopSign in this video was a great first draft at calming traffic on this neighborhood street, but it's no longer effective. This video shows 48 times drivers--including professionals with CDLs--ignored it over a few hours' worth of filming in April 2023.
