I have actually seen this film, although that was many years ago. I remember enjoying it at the time.
I would like to see more students other than those from expensive private schools take up Latin. Perhaps reviving this film could persuade students to take an interest in the language and culture of the ancient Romans.

I watched Sebastiane, Jubilee, and Caravaggio. That was back when I used to watch movies at home. Now I mostly watch movies in theaters.
The theater I frequent is a non-profit distraction-free environment, and perhaps most importantly, they pick the movie for you. Fortunately, film restorations seem to be in vogue, so I've been getting to see some classics.
