This coming April 27th I will be giving a presentation at the Harvard Divinity School's Program for the Evolution of Spirituality on confronting White supremacy in Heathenry. It is part of a larger conference on alternative spiritualities engaging in our colonial and decolonial contexts with lots of presentations scheduled that I highly recommend.
The best part is this conference is free to attend, both in-person and online via Zoom.
Witch bottles have been washing ashore along a 60-mile stretch of beach on the southern span of the Texas Gulf Coast. TWH takes a look at this phenomenon along with the long history of archaeologist looking into (and at) witch bottles.
(To make, just add a #Horse's severed head, a pole and some #Runes. Not to be confused with the #Vindgapi, which uses a #Ling#Fish head instead, and which is used to summon storms.)
"Dozens of modern witches are living in Milton Keynes, according to the latest census figures.
"As Halloween looms, a look at the most recent census figures shows there are a surprising number of people who identify as witches, #Pagans, and even #Satanists across #England and #Wales..."
I don't care what Reconstructionists say, woo-woo #Pagans who get into #Paganism because they're enamored with "magic" or "nature" are starting on much better footing than all the weirdos who do it because they're fixated on ancestry, race, ethnicity, nationality, etc...
Oi, calling all #Magickians, #Witches, #Chaotes and #Pagans (as well as spelljockeys of any other persuasion of course). This is your evening call to take part in this week's #SigilSaturday event. Instructions below.
Our small #Beltane celebration is complete! We started at sunset, and burned an incense stick of sage and cedar to bless the garden. We lit candles. I welcomed the God and Goddess and asked them to bless our garden crops for the year. We broke a specially-baked bread and placed them on the Garden Guardian, who will keep the pieces overnight before give them to the birds tomorrow. I scattered Mead as a libation.
Bright Blessings to all my fellow #Pagans and to those of you who follow a more natural path!
