#nomadic-identity wäre in der Tat ein echter Fortschritt für das Fediverse. In Teilen funktionieren solche Dinge bereits. So kann ich mir Ressourcen von einen anderen Server holen, um z.B. in einem gemeinsamen WIKI zu schreiben, Bilder oder andere Files abzulegen, Kalendereinträge gemeinsam zu pflegen.
Dabei erzeuge ich keinen neuen Account. Ich existiere auf der fremden Instanz.

Die Nomadische Identität geht noch einen Schritt weiter, in dem Kontakte, historische Beiträge, Bilder über eine fremde Instanz (noch immer ohne einen neuen Account angelegt zu haben) verwaltet werden können und ich so virtuell existiere.
Bei einen Umzug wird nur noch der neue Zielserver definiert. Im Hintergrund werden alle Daten von dem alten Node auf den neuen verschoben.

I wonder when we'll see custom domain #WebFinger in the #Fediverse / #ActivityPub ?

For example, I want to use:

• @-live.youronly.one for my #Streams account
• @-sns.youronly.one for my #Firefish account
• @-photos.youronly.one for my #Pixelfed account
• @-mblog.youronly.one for my #Mastodon account
• @-reading.youronly.one for my #BookWyrm account

Ideally, even if I move to a new host/service, I can use the same WebFinger.
