Growing up, #Navajo Times was the only paper I ever wanted to report for. I never thought I’d write for the Republic. I never thought Navajo news would be something the Republic would ever be interested in, glad I was wrong.

Seraphine Warren gained attention for her cross-country walk from the Navajo Nation to Washington, D.C., to raise awareness about her missing aunt. Now newly unsealed federal court documents show that she and three other people were arrested and charged in connection with a 2021 kidnapping case.

Four years ago yesterday, I decided I wanted to get coffee from this coffee truck with my good friend and current #NavajoTimes editor Krista Allen. The coffee truck was located at #MonumentValley, a good 3 hour drive from #FortDefiance. Krista lives closer to #Page, #Arizona so it wasn’t as far a drive for her.
Skipped work and made it to MV, where I took this pic. The #coffeetruck was nowhere in sight, but we played tourist. It was a great day.
