Traveling though #MSP airport. I love the Prince store, the accordian player and all the Up North and #Minnesota stores. But where is the new #MnFlag? Theres not even any flag merch in the Mn themed stores. Lots of plaid tho.
Minnesota has a new flag. It was worth replacing the old one. Beyond that I only paid attention to laugh at the people who were upset by this. Beyond that, who looks at the state flag anyway.
In the end, I must admit to being surprised. I kind of like the final design.
I don't necessarily agree with the entirety of the process that the #Minnesota State Emblems Redesign Commission have undertaken but I think they're doing a decent job in an impossible task -- there was going to be strong public backlash to literally any possible new #MNFlag and strong opinions during the process.
@DuncanMSussex I have my preference, too. Earlier this week I saw a presentation of the #mnFlag candidates. Any of them will be better than the flag we have.
The #Minnesota flag is routinely flown upside down. Pay attention, like I do for some reason, and you'll probably find its upside down about 30% of the time.
