Juliette Mauduit is a band member of Thot and her vocal range adds depth to Thot's new album Delta. Not all of the album gels with me, but there's plenty of wonderful tracks
I can't really define what subgenres the band and their music fits, but I'd say it's metal, post-punk and more elements.
Simone Simons from Epica is releasing a solo album on August 23, the music video for the track Aeterna (music written by Arjen Lucassen) was released yesterday. How perfect for today, as it's @Kitty's #MittwochMetalMix and @loewe's #MusicWomenWednesday 🥰
It was obsession at first listen for this album and it has been on repeat ever since, so it is only fair that it is my #MittwochMetalMix choice for today
Well, my #Wednesday shift was better than the last one and there's a bright sun shining...
...but I just consumed some vile conservative hypocrisy (even more despicable than usual), so I'm choosing #Bestial#Black#Metal violence for this #MittwochMetalMix! 🔥👹🔥
And because the DIABOLICAL FUCKWITCH OF THE BLACK FLAME 😃 is on vocal duty this might also fit for #MusicWomenWednesday ->
It's Music Women Wednesday from @loewe and it's also #MittwochMetalMix from @Kitty, so maybe instead of putting up a K.K. Slider joke, I do the brand new track from Halocene.
Hot diggity dawg, the new Oceans of Slumber tune is the absolute top! I love Cammie's new use of the harsh vocals, which pair very well with her soaring cleans. There's just so many great twists and turns here.
Dunno know if they’re metal (nope, good ol-fashioned deathrock), but they ARE playing at Northwest Terrorfest this year and I love them, so please accept #NoxNovacula for #MittwochMetalMix. 🖤😚
Something for #MittwochMetalMix I have such a backlog of albums to listen to, recommendations and new material it's hard to know where to start and what to pick.

Psyconaut the other day, cheers mate :blobrainbow: I concur, they need to be listened to 🎸
It's always a pleasure listening to a new album from those mad jokers of The Monolith Deathcult.
Despite being well rooted in death metal, they propose a more anarchical and amusing approach to the matter. Lethal grooves, symphonic and industrial-ish parts and sarcastic touches here and there.
