Trying to tell #mping what's falling from the sky but I don't know what that stuff is called. I went with "Mixed Ice Pellets & Snow" but there's some rain in there, too, and some of the ice seemed to be soggy snow flakes in frozen clumps. There was no category for "snizzling" or "Ithacating". 😂 #wx

For the person on #mping who reported mixed snow and rain near Flower Mound TX, I kinda find that hard to believe. I hope #noaa researchers have a way to filter out those reports.
