Back to work on packaging @hare for @fedora, let's see how much I can bang out in a few hours. The resulting artifacts are going to be fairly simple, but not particularly packager friendly. That's a day-2 project.
New cross-compile meta packages for #GNU and #LLVM dependencies.
I've created a convenience script, harex, to switch to non-GNU toolsets. Just set HARE_XCOMPILE_TOOLCHAIN to "llvm". User specified env vars will still be respected.
First, I'm sure Ben will find something cool to bring food to his table. He's been showing how competent he is at his job (#F38's release was flawless) and every company paying attention should be contacting him ASAP.
Second. I've been part of the @fedora community for about a year and I'm sure, being Ben the amazing dude he is, he's been putting everything in order before he leaves and @mattdm's work filling the void would be quite easy.
Last, being sure everything will work alright, I just want to say #ThankYouBen. Thanks for your amazing work and all the cool things you brought to the table on the #FedoraNation. You're still part of the Fedora Community, even if your status on Red Hat changed.
By popular demand, I took a look at #Nobara, the gaming focused derivative of #Fedora.
I compared the default experience, various ease of use tweaks, controller support, gaming performance, and highlighted the major differences, after installing both distros on the same device.
So, is Nobara truly better than Fedora for gaming? Let’s see!
