Ordinarily, Eurovision is a woke nightmare, a non-binary kaleidoscope of garish outfits, glitter showers, and they/them pronouns, but steps were taken to rectify the situation this year when organisers did their utmost to Make Colonialism Cool Again.

Hey, I’m thinking of setting up a new song contest where you can vote as many times you want for the contestant of your choice (but only 20 votes per credit card, we don’t want it to appear like a money grab after all). Beim Finale wird Nemo sogar nur fünfter beim Publicvote, doch mit 150 Punkten vor dem ersten des Publicvotes hat die Jury bereits entschieden.

Thoroughly enjoyed @designatednerd commentary on #Eurovision2024 . I have been a fan since watching the Will Farrell movie. It is definitely a spectacle and shows how different music is in Europe compared to North America. I get a real kick out of the acts.
C'est beau putain !!! Slimane a réalisé le meilleur score (je pense) depuis très longtemps, on a perdu mais je suis fière. Les fachos ont réussi à mettre Israël dans le top 5 mais ce soir ce que je retiens c'est que le lobby LGBT et plus précisément la non binarité/transidentité a gagné et ça c'est incroyable. #eurovision#eurovision2024
