I hear that Chevy is considering restarting the Camaro brand as an electric SUV.
I have no problem with the next Camaro being an all electric vehicle but make it a performance EV coup not a glorified station wagon. No it's not going to sell like an SUV but you have other SUVs in your line for that. Why not embrace hot rodding again with new technologies? Make a performance coup with modular upgradable components. #Emaro
Chevy and other manufacturers should embrace the right to repair as a profit center as they once did in years past. They should produce crate electric drive trains, encourage modular design and upgradability. They should encourage the communities that have sprung up around hot rodding to embrace an electric future. Don't just produce another SUV, make memorable works of industrial art again. #Emaro
At this moment there is a small community of electric hot rodders but they're forced to scrounge for wrecked Tesla drive trains as their only options. Car manufacturers need to take the blinders off and step into this market void. Embrace a community that has given you so much in the past. #Emaro
