So I'm watching Nathan Dane's livestream of "Pages from #Ceefax"...
...and this has me being reminded of when #teletext was used in the 1980s here in the United States. Of course, it never really caught on in the US (or in North America, for that matter).
However, it's great to see that more and more improvements are being made to Nathan's version of Ceefax, including live news updates (under the "Ceefax Files" banner) and a programming schedule for BBC's radio networks, which I now noticed.
This is a great video from the #BBC archive about the 'new' #Ceefax service that was being trialled in the mid 70's.
It really was like a mini internet of its day.
