I am not putting up with corporations asking me to round up my payment. This one was for a scholarship program, so they can donate my money (a few cents only, really) to a Taco Bell Scholarship program. Good cause? Yes absolutely!
Do you know what would be a better scholarship program? Paying their employees more! A living wage and keeping less of the profit. BTW, it's not a taco bell scholarship program, it's a customer scholarship program, but they don't get the credit, just the bill.

I never "round up" at those retail stores. I have my own ideas about where I send my donations (Planned Parenthood almost exclusively).

No one is talking about $CVS #CVS ? Its stock is down 30% since the start of this year. It's closer to its pre-covid value and they've rushed to close some A&M earlier than expected this year. Not sure why, but maybe they're expecting bad numbers to show up later this year? I thought maybe Walgreens would yield some clues ($WBA) but ah... they're fucked. They've been fucked since 2015.
#CVS coupons are great when you consider that they almost bring your costs down to what a similar purchase would be at regular price at Target or Walmart. 🤔
