The light was quite bad and I had to push the ISO a bit too high for my camera. I'll try again with better conditions. But still... the whole family is now coming over to the feeder. How cool is that?
Om de moed er wat in te houden, na het lezen van de kranten, toot ik maar weer eens een leuke vogel. Deze foto nam ik terwijl ik op dat moment alleen wat gescharrel zag, meters ver. Thuisgekomen zag ik dat die kleinerd tóch in beeld was.

Here is a backlit photo (couldn't get the right side of the bird), of a Stonechat that I encountered this morning. It's the closest I've ever got to one, and in my opinion, this is one of the UK's prettiest birds
The stonechat is named for its call, which sounds just like two small stones being hit together! It can be seen on heathland and boggy habitats.
