We've abandoned this space a little lately, but it's not forgotten. Over the summer months (in Australia), while I'm not quite so busy with work, I'm planning to upgrade and consolidate our various community spaces....

The picture is of an exclusive contract as an artist with BigHit Music. It was recently revealed through news sources that all BTS members renewed their contracts.
So, after some chats within our community, following the discussions going on in the Fediverse over the last couple of weeks, and reports so far about how it's being moderated, I've decided we will not federate with Threads for the time being and have preemptively suspended the domain.
I recognise there are arguments for and against, but at this point, I would rather focus our energies on building a safe purple space for BTS ARMY and Kpop fans.
Thank you for the laughter and tears and thirst and crazy memes and all the friendship and joy and kindness in between. You are beautiful. I am so grateful to know you all! 💜 :blobhaj_heart: :fingerheart_2:
I know lots of us have other favourite artists, and eagerly await their new releases, so I thought it might be cool to have a place to celebrate those too....
@rLok@PixelCats Agree .. will definitely make things easier to find if we add a consistent tag for the magazine threads.
But should it be #BTS for everything? Maybe it should be #Apobangpo or #BTSMagazine for everything and then tags as appropriate? I don't know - just initial thoughts in the interests of not making tags less useful more broadly?

Excited to play with Kbin and explore the possibility of setting up a Kpop/BTS dedicated instance. I currently run Apobangpo.Space - a Mastodon instance, and can see it might be cool to have a forum / blog like space for deeper discussions and sharing as part of a little purple suite of tools....
