My experience is that conservatives are very concerned about "the propaganda" but rarely push back (or even express any concern) when it's coming from their side.
I believe that the election was stolen in 2016 and Trump was deposed in a #colorRevolution the day he was sworn into office.
He was punished for winning, and we were punished for voting for him. And it will happen again the next time the scary bad man wins the vote. #Dallas#JFK
I agree that he was mistreated by the media but he antagonized them endlessly. in 2016, he claimed he actually got more votes too and that his inauguration was bigger than the media said. he got to be president in 2016 and did things they didn't want him to.
but this led you to become a troll making our politics more divisive instead of being public and making arguments and providing evidence? other people have dealt with much worse without going antisocial.
Yeah, but what happens after the revolution? Why do radical Final Solution-type mobilization just for moderate “sane” policies and norms from 40 years ago?
Muh constitution and muh free market did jack-shit to prevent the current breakdown of norms and values. Even the #ChristianNationalism of the Left’s fever dreams amounts to nothing more than “muh special ally chosenpipo” #ChristianZionism and lolbertarian prosperity gospel.
Amazing how the civic education is “the American Revolution was good, but the Confederates were bad, the blacks were non-violent, and every revolution fought in the Communist world and the Islamic world was a failure”
Ironically, volunteer activities can be "jobs" because they, too, are means-over-ends.
The same problems that Open Source suffers are present in ALL volunteering situations. That is, no one wants to lead except those who are special interest fanatics, and no one wants to do anything except their special interests.
As a result, most volunteer orgs lurch along like corps.
The problem with a volunteer org is that you sign up because you believe in it, and then they use that against you.
"This is what you believe in, so now you need to support MY interpretation of this... and that guy's, and that other guy's, and hey now we have a random list of mission creep items not a mission."
Also volunteer orgs depend heavily on conference calls just like corps.
The problem we, the workers have, is not that we are underpaid; it is that we are being forced to do what is not necessary, merely to satisfy the special interests of others.
The people who say "it's just a job, I get paid to do task X" are right, but that is also a bleak vision.
I’m gonna say it - most people are in the hamster wheel because they want to be.
They want the fancy they want the city life they want the status - none of that is given, none of that is free.
What do they do with the not 8-12hrs they’re being paid? That’s time for purpose and meaning -> nobody shows up and hands you orders for your life’s mission, you have to decide.
I think most simply have no clue there is something better.
Even the status people seem to be simply interested in having good lives, which is why they all go neurotic once they get appointed to management and have enough money.
Most people do not have the agency that would be required for them to do otherwise.
Good point. In this society, most people seem to want to be rich to avoid ending up ill, in the ghetto, powerless, and that kind of thing. They do not trust their society at all.
So they go off to the job.
However, it makes them bitter, and so they do a not-great job, and they take out their rage on their families and society.
@amerika you know I want nothing more than an EMP and survival of the fittest 🤣 and you know that I acknowledge those people who start well behind the starting line (abuse/trauma) but we also know, we cannot save people who do not want to be saved nor free people who do not see themselves as prisoners.
