The other day, I was incredibly fortunate to witness the return of a seasonal visitor to our shores. Whilst it is a little early to catch a glimpse of these shy creatures, its presence does herald warmer weather. They can be identified by their bright plumage and distinctive mating call. As we move into summer, their young become independent, increasing their number before migrating to the southern hemisphere.
