Cluster bombs are the horrible things that keep killing. they are dreadful, mangling things
"that kill and maim children"
and other innocents for decades and decades after the fighting has ended.
high dud rate ensures that if they don’t kill or disfigure anyone when they’re first fired, they’ll do so years later when someone happens to be unlucky enough to stumble across them.
@GW considering how effective UA has been with drones dropping grenades, I can only expect that they use the clusters bomblets in the same way. It's scary efficient, practically designed for the task, and let's them change a handful of kills (with about 3 duds);k
@GW It seems the Russians are already using cluster bombs so the argument is that they in the area anywhere. Also it was said the ones coming from the USA aren’t as bad as the ones the Russians are using. I still think it would be better not to have them at all though. but then it would have been better if Russia hadn’t invaded.
