I think it’s simply amazing how everything we trust has always hung by one delicate thread that depends on the good nature of one or two completely rotted chumps in hopes of decency FINALLY blossoming inside them at the most critical moment to rescue or protect, and have the news push that story until they make the choice we knew they would.
