The Wayfinder Discord is going up in smoke right now after their latest announcement. It's kinda funny, but also sad. Another MMO-hopeful, well.. not exactly dead, but the MMO-experience is going away.
Can't say that I'm surprised, I even think it's the better decision for them to make, but I do get that people that spent money on it expecting an MMO experience are mad.

There's actually a thread in there that discusses how to go about getting a refund (from Steam) if that's what you want, which the server admin seems happy to let be. I say this as a compliment to the studio.
@phanjam Do know where in the Discord I can find what you are referring to?
I'm in their Discord, and searching for "Refund Steam" brings up TONS and TONS of conversation, but nothing really from the developers on how to properly go about a refund.
@Radgryd Sad to see this about Wayfinder for sure. I was a founder myself even after the rough times they faced during launch. The game had a lot of potential but just had some really bad luck.
I hope they make something of it with this new direction they are headed.
Curious if they are going to do any kind of refunds or anything for founders as a lot of people are saying they need to do something.
