@thomholwerda What's your issue with Kagi? Been using it for over 6 months now and it's been a joy. I also enjoy that it being a paid product makes it much more resistant to enshittification
@thomholwerda Interesting, I was unaware of a lot of the things covered here. I completely agree that the company has made some mistakes, but nothing that seems too unusual for a small company run by a first-time founder (from what I can tell on his personal site)
I am suspicious of a number of things mentioned without any sort of references in the blog post mentioned, such as this Brave partnership? I cannot find anything other than Kagi adding support for the open Brave search index
