I submitted a paper to HardwareX (an Elsevier journal) 100d ago today (3+ months). Not seeing any activity, I sent an email to the editor, and I was told they have yet to decide whether to send it for review or not... Can anybody recommend another journal that would be interested in a description of a simple open hardware device for measuring muscle stiffness in an animal model?

@MarinManuel #JOSS https://joss.theoj.org/ is a very nice journal and appears to publish papers which are about hardware as well (probably you wrote some firmware or client software too?).
