@glennf@sixcolors This is the main reason I hate,hate, hate that with Apple Silicon you lose the ability to boot from an external drive. There so many useful and legitimate reasons to do that – testing before updates, for example — but mainly easy recovery for things like this. And it was super easy. It was a huge advantage unique to Macs. We need that back.
