For a Threads user to have their stuff visible on the Fediverse they need to go to the settings in their profile, then the account section, then turn on fediverse sharing. They have to click through a couple of screens explaining what it is as well. It is only one way right now. Fedi can follow and see their posts, not the other way around yet.
