I’m really struggling with this #CPAP. When I use a chin strap strong enough to keep my mouth closed, it causes a serious morning pain in the TMJ. It still hurts 15 hours later. I just can’t make this work yet. I’ll keep trying. mouth tape is next

I use a full-face version. It fits snug against the bottom of the nose and covers mouth too. No chin strap but to get 100% fit it compresses the end of my nose towards my face. Guess it keeps me from my nose getting any bigger but is uncomfortable after 5-6 hours

@djg I’ve been using that the last two nights. It just doesn’t work very well for me my mouth still comes open,creating a kind of snore inside the mask that wakes me up every time

@shoq Would a mouth guard along with tape work? Sounds like maybe you're grinding your teeth at night.

@TheJen nope.there’s not even any contact on my rear teeth. That’s another whole story. It’s definitely just the pressure of the chin strap pulling up on the joint
