👍 In the current US election system, a left-leaning third party only helps Republicans win (and is likely to be funded by Republicans), and a right-leaning #ThirdParty only helps Democrats win (and is likely to be funded by Democrats). If you want more real political parties, elect Democrats and pressure them to pass #RankedChoice voting for all elections

It's a similar idea to the Democratic strategy of funding far-right candidates in 2022, which was unsavory to say the least but it helped elect Democrats to Congress:

@jrm4 they never care about state gov. or Congress. Just the White House, and without a power bloc in Congress first, that’s a lame duck president.
