Still have my high-end VHS VCR.
Still have Time-Life Classical Library, et al.
Never really got into cassette tapes, had a few and a Walkman, never a tape deck.
I still go into a brick-and-mortar bank to do stuff.
However, don't pay cash anymore.
And never ordered anything by phone.
@NormanDunbar@otte_homan@dgar Using an early hole-in-the-wall machine to extract £10 (the only option) and then having to wait for the bank to send the card back to you in the post before you could use it again.
@dgar Having different toll rates for intra- versus inter-LATA (regional versus further afield) phone calls. At least I’m the US. And if you lived in a metropolis like Dallas or Fort Worth, having to understand them to not get a surprise phone bill for calling an intra-LATA bbs for three hours.
