@Ruth_Mottram If changes in land use were effective carbon sequestration strategies then there would be no more carbon in the biosphere. Biological processes would have removed it all.
Earth has gone from 450 ppm to 280 ppm over the last 30 million years. So the natural rate is about ~6 ppm per million years. Calling agriculture Ag doesn't change that.
