Yeah, having the printer on a smart plug that can turned off remotely is an absolute necessity. I have also set up automation that kills power when temp around the printer crosses a threshold, and send notifications (via Home Assistant of course).

@stooovie @moira Using a smart plug is my only option because my Ender 3 Pro doesn’t have a software off switch. I use a PSU plugin on #Octoprint that talks to #HomeAssistant and turns off the switch after certain mins of idling.
