She rescued the miniature pony last Summer and brought him back to health. They were leaving on their daily six mile walk on mountain backroads when I encountered them and stopped for a chat and picture.
📷 A pickup pulled over on the shoulder while Marianne and I chatted. Malachi got out and gave us a friendly “Afternoon, y’all!”
He's an Army vet from Denver, new to the area and working as an engineer. Yesterday, he was surveying power lines. Malachi asked if I was a photographer, and my “yes” brought a “me, too” and offer to show and tell. I showed him some of “The Eddie Show” and he shared underwater pictures of his girlfriend that were *art!
