At present, I am a Mastodon gypsy. Can anyone recommend an instance with the following qualities:
- 1,000 character limit (sorry, but I'm one of those peculiar people who need 1,000 characters or else I come across as a lunatic)
- The ability to upload video (I'll happily chip in on hosting costs)
- Friendly to progressives and journalists
- No alt-right moderators
- Admins and mods sympathetic to creative eccentrics like me
