It only took one BC Minister of Advanced Education to chill academic freedom.
Never in the 25yrs I've been at VIU have I ever seen this.
This isn't how Canada should be but it speaks to just how deeply our historical colonialism runs.
Just writing this leaves me uncomfortable in a way I have never felt before. My own daughter @Jade is studying anthropology here.
