I've never liked the Braves, even when I lived in Georgia for 13 years up until 2 1/2 years ago.
Oddly though, I did work for the Rome Braves(now the Emporers) back when Jason Heyward and Freddie Freeman played in Rome. I used to hang out with them every day prior to the game.
I also got to meet John Smoltz who came to pitch at Rome for a couple of games.
@cliffwade Nice! I was a braves fan long before they were any good. I remember sneaking a transistor radio to high school in my pocket and running an earpiece under my shirt so that I could listen to the games in class. Maybe that’s why I turned out old and dumb. 🤣🤣🤣
@beardedtechguy Morning! Yes, yard work sucks. I paid someone the first summer we were here, but found it's cheaper for me to have bought a riding mower and do it myself. Plus now we get paid for the other 3 yards, so I'm making my money back even quicker, which is nice.
@andycarolan Very much so. It's nice in so many ways, but it can make things pretty much impossible when the internet is down or the PC is acting up or whatever.
