@tomasekeli So true. It's the main reason I struggle to get in to it (as a viewer, never record anything myself). If you find any nuts-free instances I'd love to see 'em!

but, as a viewer, just using https://sepiasearch.org to look for things to watch - it is a LOT of wingnuts

I guess when you put together the most persuasive medium (generally) on the internet - video, and paranoia wanting to evade "censorship", the result isn't too surprising 😮‍💨

I actually have a bit of an ambition in 2024 to start recording either audio or video, hence recent interest in Peertube. I sense having your own instance is the way to go at the moment.

@tomasekeli @vmatt I need little trick you can do is go into an instances “about” section, and then click on “network” you can see a list of instances that follow or are being followed by the instance you’re on.

Chances are, that the instance that you trust, are following instances that you are more likely to be able to trust as well.
