Bluesky refuses to reveal who owns the company & its IT. But Bluesky the app is a complete clone of Twitter yet it's the only one Musk has never attacked.

Dorsey is going to create the new "operating system for Twitter" and Musk is going to merge the two systems and fire everyone tied to the legacy stack.
If they don't do it initially, they won't do an entire rewrite of such systems later. So just assume #Web5 and Bluesky to be dead before they were even created.
If Bluesky had any chance of success, it would have received the same response as Threads in the first few days. Their first mistake was with the soft launch.
With Threads, you had influencers racing to become the largest accounts before others arrived. This made people rush to it, similar to #Tiktok. Bluesky ruined any chance of this happening by restricting the audience of such accounts.

Baffling indeed. I've worked on a "litigation timeline" & it's pretty plain they started planning Musk's takeover by early 2021, when Jack knew the Twitter Board was going to push him out as CEO (for 2nd time). He tried to get Musk on the Board then. His #Bluesky project at Twitter stagnant for 2 years, then suddenly Jack hand-picked its CEO (Graber) in Aug, & created a murky PBLLC w/secret owners in Oct, right before he left as CEO in Nov 21. Musk started buying up TWTR in Jan 22.
I know, it's insane. I was just talking about it with my husband and I was like, you can point out that the toaster is broken and the toast that comes out of it is always burnt & so maybe we should get a new one - but ultimately people just ignore you and decide they like to eat burnt toast now.
