@pepelsbey I think (but immediately off the top of my head don’t know for sure) it’s possible to use an iOS device without providing payment information. This guide says it’s required.

One question: what's stopping 3rd party web browsers to port their own web engines (Blink/Gecko) to iOS and provide PWA support inside them, including standalone mode, push notifications and extended storage? Being a default web browser, e.g. Chrome could detect PWA and provide a fullscreen view. It's better than nothing. https://fosstodon.org/@niutech/111947656399263607
@tomayac The rules doesn't say anything specific about PWA support (standalone mode, push notifications, isolated storage), which points are worrisome? Web browser vendors like Google should have enough resources to provide Chrome for iOS based on Blink with support for PWAs even with these strict rules.
@niutech The fact of having to maintain two apps alone for EU/non-EU is painful, especially since the EU app will need Apple/iOS integrations (as per the rules) that the non-EU variant doesn't.
