The move back to the office is certainly underway, with working from home being de-normalised & back to an exception (if now more frequent).

But what is the impact on those who for health or mobility reasons are only able to work from home.

In many ways WFH was (accidentally?) a boon for 'disabled' employment, allowing many to access jobs that would have been difficult if attendance at office was required.

How will their opportunities fare in the move away from WFH?

I wish companies would see that they are wasting enormous amounts of money on office real estate.

I lost my desk due to budget cuts prior to COVID and I loved it. I'm debating on going back into an office now and I'm terrified I'll lose the cover I have now for my mental health issues.

@nlpbot @ChrisMayLA6 I can sympathise. I don't have any health issues (even if some of my colleagues might dispute that :-). We developed our company as a distributed one - easier because we are IP intensive and mainly mathematical sciences. However it has worked out very well for everyone involved, bar a little travelling, we manage to have a group of people working together from Shetland to The Borders, Glasgow to Berlin and as far south as Barcelona.
