Didn’t get nearly what I planned to done after work yesterday. Added in protective grating above sumps and access ways underneath the #transformers. Also did basic texturing for the firewalls (literal firewalls to protect equipment - transformers tend to be full of flammable oil for cooling and insulation).
@DeltaWye How's your bushing clearances looking? If it's a 345kV on the HV side, you'd want > 9 meters above the access roadway and > 4.5 meters between each phase. I always recommend more clearance between bays, since it makes maintenance safer.
@ve7fim Here is what I have so far - will adjust the size and angles and will need to add additional spacing between the transformers. Also checked phase to ground distance to the firewall.
Is this #NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) guidelines out of curiosity? I was thinking more 500kV level which would require more.
