@liaizon@EU_Commission While I get that the blame for this issue also rests upon the businesses that produce fast fashion without regard for the environmental consequences of the waste that they produce, that doesn't mean that to the consumer who regularly buys, wears once and discards cheap clothes is somehow magically blameless.
This is an "Everyone sucks here" situation.
The picture makes its point clearly - this isn't a sustainable way to produce or consume clothing. That it doesn't also speak to your particular pet issue is neither here nor there.
@StryderNotavi Nobody said anything about the actual issue, only "the choice of illustration" was criticized. There's no better "time and place" for feminism, it should be all the time everywhere because it's about human consideration.
