My #house started doing a madness and randomly, the #electric kept tripping and I was like WTF? So I kept trying to figure out what was happening and by process of elimination, worked out its something to do with the downstairs #sockets.
Everyday, it was becoming more and more frequent and I was getting more and more frustrated and stressed.
Fast forward to yesterday and I ordered a socket checker ASAP from Amazon, only to find out the #extension lead I plug into the plug next to my bed has no #earth and I sleep every night with a charger plugged into that extension on the edge of my bed.
Anyway, by today it was tripping every couple hours and I'm at the point where I had to start opening up the sockets to figure out why it was tripping, only to find that one in the dining study had rusted.
Why is that interesting? Because a few weeks back, I kept saying how I had mad levels of static electricity. Related? Probably. Now, some people may say I'm being dramatic, but there's at least two different final destination deaths there.
So it turns out there was moisture in a socket and the tripping was the house trying to warn me. What a pullava! The good news though, is that I consolidated a load of plugs. The bad news is all this cut into my budget for other stuff.
