About 10% of what I post here gets a reply. Often, a negative one. It's obvious why berserker.town is shutting down. Too little, too late. And I need to do less computers and more going outside.
@koyu My life has more of those now. One of the people I know now insists on getting my to the gym 3 times a week. I have also been tutoring a high school student over FaceTime for much of May. My gut feeling tells me it's time to rely on people who are there for you.
@Zergling_man I have a friend from Florida who casually throws "nigga" around. Has black friends. He probably considers himself a "nigga" himself. The impression I got is that "nigga" over there is less about race and more about your place in life. I don't think the term is necessary. Whether you're black or white, you can face struggles. In Europe, a lot of people treat people from the former East Bloc the same way. I see the colour as a distraction from the true issue - class divisions.

Is it your goal to win the Internet? Not really mine. Tomorrow, I will meet my gym buddy again. This is a computer and fingers are hitting keys. It's not food, sex, visceral experience, or anything important.
@Zergling_man What would game dev give you? The human being wasn't born for game dev. No way in hell have we evolved brain circuitry specialised on desiring video games to be made. So what need are you satisfying there, really?
@Zergling_man I see many people who are content with giving themselves the best imaginary challenges. I was watching a video the other day with Adam Savage - TV celebrity and prominent figure in the maker movement - that he made with a buddy of his. Personally, I just saw grown adults playing with legos.
