Did you know the creator of the smurfs said they were like five apples high, but when you look at them they're barely over one apple high, how does Europe explain this
@sun@lanodan it's interesting to research old europoor ways of measuring things. Even stuff like time is interesting (for example Poland used names of prayers to measure passage of time once upon a time)
@kaia hard to tell which one I like the most tbh, they're all appealing on multiple levels (especially historically). The only one I don't respect is Mark II. I kind of like Master System more than Mega Drive but MD's YM2612+PSG music and YM2413 used on Mark III as an optional addon trumps it in every way. I appreciate Saturn and Dreamcast equally even if I like Saturn games much more, while Pico is okay at best if you don't take the niche it occupied into account. As far as non-standalone systems go, 32X was criminally underdeveloped and misused, while MegaCD was a fantastic idea.
@kaia the design is smarter with Model 2 on the right though (comms with the CD base are done via an edge connector in a side compartment) even though Model 2s tend to suck (like mine lol) Master System II's design looks cuter though, imo
@kaia also the converter for MD to play SMS games is mostly a passthrough, at most it has some logic to handle switching between card and cartridge but a MD is already a Master System since it has all the components.
Why do trannies irl act like they're walking caricatures anyway? It's much harder to keep a straight face than to mask my personal feelings about this "person" - and I'm putting it in quotation marks because it's very hard to ascribe humanity to something that acts like a cartoon in a professional role.
@kaia I don't think you comprehend the level of parody that person was embodying. Like a combination of every single stereotype played entirely straight (no pun intended) and with full seriousness, in a business setting.
