I thought FIBA last year was so much fun (special shoutout to the microphones that were lowered into team timeout huddles, so you could see and hear coaches draw out and communicate their next play on TV. I remember the coach of France swearing a lot, and the broadcasters apologizing after any coach swearing, which many did, for “colourful” language or something euphemistic like that). I see the Wolves at -4.5 on the point spread tonight. I wonder how many more games they can win. I think I like (affinity for) the Wolves more than the Mavs, but I like them both better than the Celts lol and for that matter wonder whether I should be cheering for the Mavs getting more time off before the NBA Finals

I wonder how much the cats reported on in this thread are interested in smelling human worn objects for the out-of-house smells the objects might pick up versus the smell of their human companions on those objects. We don’t do this much as humans compared to other animals but smelling can be used to identify an individual, and smelling the smell of an known individual who’s a positive relation can be pleasing
I love this photo!! I love the proximity of the person there with the fishing net for context; they and the egret are doing the same thing. Plus the profile of the egret is really neat. That neck is quite question mark shaped
