I’ve cried real tears every day this week trying to receive medical treatment. I have insurance. I live in a blue state. I followed all the rules.

Everyone keeps apologizing to me and I still haven’t gotten my prescription – of ten years – filled. Nobody here gets proper healthcare but the wealthy.

@swansinflight @Geekpulp def important to allow for it (much like depreciation) - but honestly, if the choice is "give more money to oil companies" (who've lied, price gouged us all and set the planet on fire) or "give the exact same money to anyone else", at this point, I'm still going to choose the later.

    Fuck Chris Hipkins. His pandering to a bunch of mediocre white men posing as "business leaders" is putting this country on the fast track to being a failed state.

    Any modern head of state who thinks that govt finances should be run the same way as a household is a foolish and dangerous dilettante. And he just said it out loud.

    Labour has become the equivalent of National except for a scant handful of social issues. They are everything we do not need right now.
