Need to come up with a domain for my upcoming (on friday) #mastodon instance.

It is going to be a vehicle to promote a radio show I host every Saturday night. My show centers around independent music from the north central #Ohio area.

My hope is to attract users interested in submitting music to the show, trading gig among themselves, and promoting local gigs.

Any ideas?

The show is called "Six Degrees of Ohio"

I just delivered a #radiogram .. it's like a telegram over #AmateurRadio .. via #MorseCode .. but the conditions were sketchy, and we had to relay the message.

Local Slow Nets are awesome for learning #CW Nets at a comfortable pace.

I'm rereading @pluralistic 's "Little Brother" for the third time since its release. And STILL... Every time I see "Clockwork Plunder," I think of a game called Toy Bizarre on #commodore64 that I wasted far too much of my life on. Even the music gives me PTSD.

I really need to think about firing up my own #mastodon instance. I keep thinking about having it #ohio #music centric, but i don't know if there would be any interest in that community.

But running an instance in my basement on a #raspberrypi sounds like so much fun.

I went to look for @pluralistic 's "Little Brother" on audiobook this weekend on Audible. The only thing there was an audio blurb about why none of his works were there. I bought it.

I totally agree with him. I checked the local library for the audiobook and was able to check it out immediately.

I need to double-check that it's a good book to suggest to my old fart friends who think that we shouldn't be concerned with privacy if we have nothing to hide.

This is a little proof of concept that I put together VERY quickly.

The problem I had was that I LOVE going to the movies, and how that we have a theater in town, I love it even more. Unfortunately, I miss movies all the time as you really have to work hard to get the show times. It would be GREAT if I could get a listing emailed or texted to me every few days (or something changes).
