@bennileemhuis Het begin van de video lijkt alle oppervlakkige vooroordelen te bevestigen. Maar Oliver heeft zijn research uitermate goed gedaan, dat maakt dat hij een verhaallijn kan opbouwen met een conclusie die veel mensen, denk ik, niet verwachten.

En dat alles zeer humoristisch gebracht, dus zeker de moeite van het kijken waard!

The Walter Isaacson biography of Mask gives a lot of background about how this cost benefit could be achieved.

Basically, traditional contractors have arrangements with the government whereby they can funnel through any cost or setback.

My main criticism on the analysis of @MatHias8719 would be that he is comparing a vision of individual capsules with line services without spending any words on the consequences that would bring.

The critical issue would be in the "sorting" process...

...whether you do the "sorting" with individual passengers on stations, or you do it with passengers encapsulated in their vehicles, you will need provisions for that.

The challenge of a "car" system is not in the lanes, it's in the intersections and the junctions.

Take the internet for comparison: glass fiber is the easy part. The critical component that makes the system work are the routers. A lot of complexity has been solved in creating efficient routers, that's what makes the internet such a great system.

My personal opinion would be that sorting individual passengers with a good signage system while walking through a station is a lot more efficient than doing so with humongous traffic junctions. That's why I still believe in the "Underground" solution.

@simongerman600 I think this is highly consequential. Meeting online takes away a lot of the social, racial and geographical constraints you would have otherwise. Óver time our society will become much more mixed.

Vier partijleiders (en één informateur) zijn nu helemaal in de zevende hemel bij het vooruitzicht dat ze straks de regeringsmacht kunnen bepalen.

Als het straks goed en wel 2024 is, dan ergert Wilders zich weer als vanouds aan de breedsprakigheid van Omtzigt. Terwijl Yesilgöz en Wilders elkaar in de haren vliegen omdat ze elkaar de positie van Top Dog niet gunnen.

@ReneDamkot Hij is Amerikaan maar heeft in Nederland gewerkt. Dus daar vandaan duidelijk bekendheid met de Nederlandse begrippen.

(Fantastisch trouwens, Nederland met buitenlandse ogen bekijken. Moesten we vaker doen, buitenlanders hier bij ons laten werken 😉)
