last step before uninstalling Docker Compose v1...

sudo mv /usr/local/bin/docker-compose /usr/local/bin/docker-compose-no-not-this-one

(context: when the Docker Compose project was changed from v1 to v2, the entire project was rewritten and as a result the new command is docker compose but the old command docker-compose keeps getting run by mistake, causing weird errors because of changes in the compose schema)

Chrome privacy question.

If you have it installed as all #Android phones are forced to, is it necessary to use #Chrome to suffer from its #privacy abuse, or does it do evil in the background regardless?

I guess I can throw out my planned obsolescence coffee grinder Wilfa cgws-2, which I had for 2 years.

A stone-like thing was somehow in my coffee beans and it got jammed in the grinding teeth (burrs).

I opened it to clean it, and it started working again... but the plastic crap that the burrs are mount in snapped off when I tried to put it back.

It's manufacture date is September 2020.

Guess I'll ask the manufacturer for a spare part, which they will probably not respond to 🤷

Holy buckets. Just had a great idea.

Has anyone done events, like calendar events, on Activity Pub?

Basically just use the protocol to broadcast .ics events or whatever is the most reasonable format?

It'd beat bandsintown.com and could actually compete with Facebook's chokehold on event stuff!
