    @AAKL #Microsoft always prioritized features over stability/performance. I expect the handheld to be good until one or two Windows updates :p

    Hey Linux people, I need your help: 🐧

    On my media center PC, I often switch between 60 Hz and 24 Hz refresh rate for perfectly smooth playback. Is there a way in either KDE Plasma (Wayland) or Kodi to switch refresh rates automatically or with some kind of quick widget? I currently use the settings menu every time.

    Note: It's a media center PC connected to a TV, so I won't type terminal commands.

    @fell I've never tried this myself but I believe that you could point the desktop shortcut to an app-startup script created by you, where you change the refresh with #xrandr, then launch the app and when closed, change back to native.

    Something on the line as:
    xrandr --rate 24
    start app
    xrandr --rate 60

    @og I use OnePlus 6T almost fully daily driving. I've tried both Phosh and Gnome Mobile, currently leaning more towards Phosh.

    It was easier than I thought. I recommend #Phosh as the user interface.
