I was tired of @EeveeEuphoria 's neopossum set not having a tall boi like cat and fox. So, I made them. Unfortunately, they're pretty janky because I don't actually know what I'm doing.

Looking at it some more, I think that using bread_floof was a blursed decision. Those don't look like lots of fluff sticking out of skinny legs. Neopossum_floof's legs are just absolutely shreded with muscle definition then have a little floof on them. A rear axe kick from neopossum_floof will drive your face 6 inches into a concrete floor.

One of the best resources in my attempt to catalogue emojis has been https://git.envs.net/envs/pleroma-custom

The readme file there gives credit and links to so many things. A few are out of date (dead links) but it's usually enough information to start your search.

Also, @puniko maintains a really great list for downloading them if you need a local copy. Source info isn't always available but if you just need a copy of it with the metadata to import it properly, great resource.

These aren't super common as complete sets but there are a bunch of singletons floating around from @FrazzledBrynn . Their queer butterflies are a bit of an exception to that with a few servers having all of them, albeit under different names.

The biggest set of #emoji for #Pride month that I've found so far is the #Celeste Hearts pack made by @cataclysm .

It's rather widespread so I almost didn't share it but they made so many flags I couldn't skip it. The repo is here. Check in the folder named Fediverse Packs to find the one for your instance.

it can be used to group an iterable using a callback,

You might want to check out the source code for emojos.in. It's a similar project, written in rust. It could have some interesting tricks in it.

I know I simplified a bunch of my neomoji cataloging stuff thanks to it.

Yeah, emojos.in does have its issues. The biggest one I noticed is that it can't handle Misskey but the grouping thing is another problem for sure.

And that's pretty cool for 2 hours work.
