Located in the Humber River watershed in North Etobicoke, the Arb offers one hundred hectares of public gardens and natural areas to explore, with programming based out of the Centre for Urban Ecology.

The Humber Arboretum exists as a unique tri-partnership between Humber College, the City of Toronto, and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).

Opened in 1977, when atmospheric C02 was approximately 333.73 PPM

Eastern Cottontail rabbit skull.

Rabbits and other lagomorphs have an ID feature on their skulls that helps separate them from rodents - "rostral fenestration". This refers to the area of skull in front of the eye socket that looks like latticework.

This skull is one of the many objects on display inside the Centre for Urban Ecology.
